We are a Veteran-owned flower farm that grows beautiful flowers to make people and the environment happy by providing sustainably grown local farm fresh flowers to farmers markets, florists, wholesale markets, and event designers in Mid-coast Maine from our climate positive farm.  We are anchored in the love of flowers, being good stewards of our land, and building community.

A Family Run Farm in Maine Since 2024

Dani Gent and Chris Eads started Full Stem Ahead in 2024 with a vision and began transforming their new property into a lush cut-flower farm.​

Now a thriving, sustainable farm, their flowers are used in floral design, for educational workshops, and to inspire creativity through the joy of flowers. Dani and Chris want their flower farm to be a hub for community gathering and creativity by blending the arts and nature.

DIY Bridal & Special Event Buckets

Available from June 15 – September 15. Let us know the date of your event, and the colors you prefer. Approximately 90 stems per bucket (10 arrangements). 

Subscriptions

Now available year round!  Delivery available within 40 miles of Troy, ME (add $15).  Free pickup available on Wednesdays at the farm, on Fridays at the Hampden Farmers Market at St. Matthews Church (May-Sep only) or on Saturdays at the United Farmers Market in Belfast.

Small-Scale Production for High-Quality Yield

The farm consists of a carefully and meticulously managed ¾ acre in production. This ensures maximum resources for each flower grown.

Pesticide Free

We do not use pesticides, all soil amendments are organic and we had to break ground our first year but we plan to be no-till in the future.
